Will you or your children still be able to afford to live in Bucks County?
Under Democratic control of school boards, mayors, councils, and townships, taxes have climbed sharply — roughly 20% in recent years — and once they go up, they almost never come back down. Throwing more money at problems only works when the goal is actually solving them. Too often it becomes a side door for political favors while elevating figures like Josh Shapiro toward higher office, Bob Harvie toward Congress, and Steve Santarsiero toward greater influence — all at the expense of the people who actually live here.
Affordability is the core question. Can working families still make it in Bucks County? Will your kids be able to buy a home here? Is there a real future for the next generation, or are we pricing our own people out?
Jobs matter just as much. What kind of work is available for people under 35? Are we creating opportunities that keep our young adults here, or watching them leave for other states because Bucks no longer offers a path to build a life? On the discussion on Datacenters, has a study been done so locals and the business can win and everyone come on top, or are you just flying to one side without any facts or studies or discussions being made, and who are we to make decisions for others that are debating the issue in their areas?
Education has slipped. Central Bucks was once ranked among the very best in the state. Today it sits far lower under a school board monopoly that has struggled to properly support staff while directing a nearly $460 million budget toward priorities that leave classrooms and workers behind.
This November is our chance to push back. Bucks County Republicans cannot afford to stay home. Control of the State Senate, key House seats, the congressional seat, and the governor’s office are all on the line. Low turnout hands Democrats a clear path to a trifecta in Harrisburg and weakens the only Republican voice representing Bucks in Washington.
Here are 20 clear reasons why Republicans in Bucks County need to vote on November 3, 2026:
- Hold the Pennsylvania State Senate so Democrats cannot gain a full trifecta. Their agenda includes policies that would release thousands of second-degree murder offenders back into communities with little case review — a direct threat to public safety.
- Defend and expand Republican strength in the State House. With a Democratic governor and courts, losing the legislature risks turning Pennsylvania into a high-tax, high-regulation blue state that drives families and jobs to more affordable places.
- Re-elect Brian Fitzpatrick in PA-01 — Bucks County’s only Republican congressman. Brian is a moderate who earns support from Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. His opponent, Bob Harvie, has a record of voting for higher pay and directing county resources toward partisan priorities.
- Defeat Josh Shapiro’s bid for a second term as governor. Pennsylvanians deserve a governor focused on American priorities and the people of this Commonwealth.
- Stop further property tax increases at the county and local level. These taxes do not go down, and they hit hardest those already struggling to make ends meet.
- Push back against rising school taxes and unchecked district spending.
- Restore parental rights and local control in education. One side claims to defend reproductive rights while the other works to limit parental authority — and they eliminated key private school scholarship programs like EITC that helped working families.
- Prioritize public safety and support for law enforcement. Too often, serious crime and its consequences are downplayed under Democratic leadership while resources flow elsewhere.
- Back serious immigration enforcement that protects communities and resources. When benefits are diverted to those here illegally, it comes at the expense of disabled veterans, single mothers, and citizens who have paid into the system.
- Demand energy policies that keep gas and utility costs down for Bucks County families and businesses.
- Fight for real affordability on groceries, housing, and everyday costs.
- Address local concerns over data centers, power demand, and the impact on ratepayers.
- Protect election integrity and clean voter rolls.
- Prevent a Democratic trifecta that would accelerate higher taxes and bigger government.

- Insist on fiscal responsibility instead of structural deficits and raids on reserves.
